Though not a particularly birdy day, it was lovely weather and good company of 23 people on the August 27 AVAS bird walk.
A total of 8 participants joined in the August 2025 AVAS Bird Walk and observed 22 different bird species on a lovely, cool morning.
Even small things, like forgotten snack wrappers or orange rinds, can teach bears to see humans as sources for food, which puts them at risk.
