A total of 14 people attended the walk at the NWDC-River Campus at 8 am. Everyone appreciated the additional walk and the earlier start time of 8 am.  A total of 24 bird species were seen and/or heard.

The Arkansas Valley Audubon Society (AVAS) is located in Pueblo, Colorado and is one of 500 Audubon chapters around the country.
