NWDC would like to recognize Zane Groom, who has transitioned into the role of Maintenance & Facilities Manager as of February 13th. Zane has been a valuable member of our team since December, demonstrating remarkable initiative and dedication. With his promotion, Zane will now oversee the land and facilities management of our Mountain Campus and River Campus.

Zane will also coordinate campus volunteer projects, like the upcoming Earth Day stewardship initiative at the Mountain Park on April 20th. Before joining NWDC, Zane spent six years honing his skills as a diesel mechanic. Fun fact: Zane even celebrated his wedding at our Mountain Campus, last summer! Outside of work, he’s an avid outdoor enthusiast, often found backpacking, fishing, and camping with his furry companions.
