Luis (he/him/his) is a seasoned outdoorsman and avid adventurer who thrives on embracing nature and maintaining an active lifestyle. With six years of dedicated service in the Army, Luis has valuable experience in discipline and teamwork, and this shapes his outlook on life. Nature has always served as Luis’ sanctuary, providing him with moments of peace and inspiration during activities such as hiking, camping, and simply enjoying the fresh air. Alongside his love for the outdoors, Luis is deeply passionate about sports, finding fulfillment in the rush of competition and the comradery of being part of a team.



Luis is excited about his position with us and looks forward to using his problem-solving skills and attention to detail to contribute positively to the team. Luis is motivated for the adventures that lie ahead, and is committed to making a difference at NWDC.


About NWDC


The Nature & Wildlife Discovery Center is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit environmental education and raptor rehabilitation center located in the City and County of Pueblo, Colorado. NWDC was founded in 2018 through the merging of two veteran organizations that bring 50 combined years of high-quality nature programming to the Pueblo community. NWDC now manages these two unique locations to better serve our community, engaging over 20,000 participants annually.
