On August 12, 2023, 10 participants enjoyed a walk in relatively cool conditions at the River Campus.

Other beings:


Prairie Rattlesnake- laying along the trail. Thankfully spotted by one of our sharp-eyed participants. We moved back & let the snake move across the trail and into the high grass.

The Arkansas Valley Audubon Society (AVAS) is located in Pueblo, Colorado and is one of 500 Audubon chapters around the country.
