Eight people participated in the June 28, 2025 4th Saturday Bird Walk on the lovely, warm meander along the trails at the River Campus, Nany species of birds were seen including:


Warbling Vireo

Osprey

Turkey Vulture

White-breasted Nuthatch

Mississippi Kite

Northern Flicker

Western Kingbird

The Arkansas Valley Audubon Society (AVAS) is located in Pueblo, Colorado and is one of 500 Audubon chapters around the country. AVAS conducts birding activities, offers community programs, contributes to pro-environmental legislative initiatives, and works with agencies that manage public lands and sponsors birding field trips.
