Mountain Park Environmental Center

MPEC sends out its newsletter, the Mountain Park News, to about 500 households and businesses
four times a year, including to our 250 members. We also distribute approximately 150 newsletters
at designated locations throughout Pueblo and Beulah. MPEC reaches 2,205 kids each year with
programs designed to empower Pueblo's youth and create leadership for Pueblo's future. MPEC's
guided hikes, study groups and evening nature talks draw in over 1,050 adults from throughout
Pueblo County. MPEC is also poised at a point of critical growth - we are in the midst of building
plans intended to increase our programming capacity by approximately 100%, reaching twice as
many Pueblo children with our valuable programming and bringing professionals from across the
State and the Nation to Pueblo County for environmental retreats.
